Steve ran a successful studio and gallery space, worked on television sets, and has been involved in the city’s creative culture for years before his journey with New Life. In 1994, Perry separated the age groups and opened a second sober living house for men in the Torrance, California area to accommodate the older adults. New Beginning Recovery’s success in working with young men began to take off once the guys began living with their own peers. Today, I know what service work is and I know I’m able to give that to my newest sisters. My heart is hungry because I want what they have and that’s a lot of love, a lot of support, drive, and recovery.
Dr. Josh Lichtman is an experienced psychiatrist who has been practicing for close to two decades. He is dual board certified in both adult psychiatry and addiction medicine. Sebastian takes pride in having the opportunity to help young men transform their lives while working with their families. Everything from traditional college programs to professional certifications and trade schools, we help support each young man to identify, pursue and achieve their dreams. I could not have done that without the help and support early on, and I will be forever grateful to Jada. I changed from a single, scared little girl to a woman, partner, mother and now have three beautiful dogs, a long with building a business brick by brick, and blessed to take care of both my parents.
